1 head and leaves of the orange cauliflower
1 head and leaves of the white cauliflower
1 dollop of organic real butter
Real Sea Salt to taste
Wash well, cut into pieces and put into your pressure cooker. Add about a cup of water.
Steam for 2 minutes ( or 3 depending on your pressure cooker ).
De -pressure your pot, then get your immersion blender and blend it up.
You can add more butter or sea salt to taste.
Add mustard to flavor
Add better than bouillon roasted chicken base
Add ginger or garlic.
This is very easy, taste delicious and it's soothing and comfortable
and you're getting a good dose of minerals.
Think about the color you want the creamy soup to be, I like it more toward the creamy white, the more carrots you add the more orange it will be. Keep in mind the flavor of each vegetable. The turnip is more bitter so you'll often use less of it since the flavor is powerful. The parsnips are good for adding creamy texture as are the cauliflower. I'll add cauliflower or parsnips to a soup to make is thicker as well...and I'm getting even more vegetables.
I run my kitchen free flow, the only measurements I use are the
1/2 quart and the quart mason jar and measuring cup for water in the pressure cooker.
